Having a young teenage boy playing competitive hockey, he was always motivated to working hard. However, it wasn’t until Gad began working with Matthew and the mental side of the game, that he was able to take his game to a higher level. Matthew now puts the same effort into his mental game that he was putting into his hockey training. Gad has been a great resource for us and we would highly recommend him.
As a parent of a student-athlete providing constructive criticism is rarely if ever perceived as such. In hiring Gad Espinosa, I was able to communicate my observations as background information for him to use with my son. Gad was able to quickly establish trust to then effect change. My son now has a clear strategy and specific tools he uses to be better prepared mentally for his competitions. Moreover, he has taken these tools and applied them to school and life. I encourage parents to take a step back and have their aspiring young athlete be mindfully coached and counselled by a professional and I highly recommend Gad Espinosa.
Gad is an amazing coach who pushes me to achieve more than I thought possible, both professionally and personally. He is very engaging and has a great ability to analyze my responses to his questions to challenge my way of thinking and provide a clear sense of direction. I can honestly say I am happier today as a direct result of working with Gad.
Gad is an excellent trainer. He is the perfect combination of tough (“Gad, you are KILLING me!”) and warm (“Michael, you are doing great”). Because of his efforts, I am stronger and more flexible, I have better balance and most importantly, working out has become fun. I recommend him without reservation.
Training with Gad has only been a positive experience. He knows when I need a push but knows when to give me a break. Working with him has not only made me much stronger, but it has also given me the knowledge to create my own workouts. His training methods have been extremely effective, motivating, and most importantly enjoyable.
